So I'm dating this new chick and she shows me the system she has in her '98 Chevy Cavalier. It's a 10" Kicker Solobaric L5 square in a short but wide sealed box running off of about 800 watt....
I was like 1 10", not a bad setup for a standard chick car. Later on she throws in 50 cent and turns up the volume and WTF, her 10" pounds harder than my 15"! The thing about it is I actually pull my back seat down and it still doesn't hit as hard as hers. To me I thought I had some pretty good bass, rattling the car and all.
I'm running the '02 ED-k 15" off about 500W in a 2.5 cube box ported at 30Hz. It's facing the rear of the trunk which did give it more boom because I had it facing up. The bad thing is she's been wanting to hear my system because I have a 15 and now I'm putting it off. How freakin embarassing!
The bad thing is her box is prefab and the guy who hooked everything up doesn't know anything about car audio he just threw the box and amp in the back and read the instructions.
What's going on? Any ideas?
