Thats kind hard knowing that not much people have heard the new K series yet. But i read alot of good thing about the DD 3500 series i would pick DD for higher power and the K series if the power is lower. Thats just me. How meany Watts are you looking at?

I wanna see how they compare with the 3500, have 2 3512, i am considering ordering 2 15 k's for my brother, we both have a jbl 1200.1

Personally, I would have to give the 3500s the slight edge, but this coming from a person who has not heard the Ks (gen2). For the money, Ks all the way!

LOL, you still have not told me the story, ya lazy bum.

K series is going to sound a good deal better in smaller boxes, but albiet ported 12 v 12 the 3500 is going to take the cake in terms of sheer output. Just one peaky sub. Definatly a fun toy of mine at one piont in time, would also be a good candidate for IB use. K imo will retain a good better deal better response ported in smaller boxes and imo retains a tad more composure than the 3500.

K series will NOT handle the power a 3500 will, sheer spl wise, the 3500 takes the cake imo. 12 v 15. Never personally made the comparison but in terms of output it'd level the playing field a tad.

i'm not comparing different size, i kno 12 v 15 cant really be compared, i meant the series as a whole...i'm just hoping they can handle 600 watts a piece...

sspider

o yes. they will handle the 600 watts a piece just fine.

stepping into which will handle more. I just want to make it clear the 3500 does and will handle a tad more power than the K series //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
