Personally I would pick the eD amp over the HiFonics

The nine.1 does rated power plus some, HiFonics won't

I have the Diamond D61000.1 and I love it to death, wouldn't trade it for anything, but I have never had the chance to preview the ED, I myself think the D6 has great SQ, it plays every note how I see the music being played, I would suggest doin some more research on it with users that have had both. Also watch out cause both those amps will do over their rated power. The shop here said he got 1800 watts out of his D61000.1, and Elemental Designs rates there amps at 12.6 volts. And from what I've heard the average watts at 14.4 is 1400 watts. Well good luck with your choice, hopefully someone that has owned both of those will chime in.
