elemental designs vs hifonics?

Ok, I have two 10" rockford dvc's in a box wired for 1 ohm. They are 500rms each. I was looking at the hifonics txi 5006 which is 750 x1@1 ohm. It seems to be about $200. I also noticed the elemental designs nine.1 which is 1200x1@1ohm for about $350. Do i need the extra power and can anyone suggest any other amps. I will be running components up front off of an orion hcca 250. Thanks for the help. Also in the future I may upgrade to two 12's, depending on how the tens sound.

Personally I would pick the eD amp over the HiFonics

The nine.1 does rated power plus some, HiFonics won't

i'd go with the ed,you can find them for 200-250 for used ones on the icix forums.
