I'm planning on going 3 way active, so I picked up an AudioControl DQX. For tweets I'm thinking about the aluminum Seas Neo, for mids I'm going to use Dayton RS180-4, and a 12w6v2 is going in the trunk.

The new 6.9 is a GEM. Good enough to run my whole system all by itself. It sounds wonderful, despite the power discrepancy coming from systems 4x the power- this bad boy exhibits very good control over a 8" Seas Lotus midbass with its measly 70rms per ch, and my 12 subs currently wired to only 140rms each.

I'll be auditioning some Dayton RS-225's which are alot more efficient and higher Qts, i have no doubt they'll pound with that power.

It exhibits in my setup of speakers the midrange/top end smoothness of the DLS Ultimates, with the tight midbass of the Arc SE/XXK amps. I couldn't get both of these qualities with either setups, power arrangements.

I have no experience with the old LRx, but from what i hear these new LRx's are pretty **** close to the VRx's.

Thanks. They're not in the same league as the new LRx, but they should still provide some clean power and I'm loving the small footprint!
