Im picking up a couple ED subs from a buddy of mine. They are about 2 years old and work perectly but one sub has a crack in the plastic/composite face. It goes from the center cap to the dust shield. I will get pics later but i was just wondering...and im sure i will get flamed for this lol...but....

Besides a recone could i just silicone it to keep it stuck down so it doesnt crack more so i can recone it at a later day. I have some silicone type adhesive that i used on some MA audio subs like 4 years ago on the rubber surround and its still holding strong as far as i know. But just wanted to see what you guys thought.

Thanks, Vince:cool:
