Elemantal Design for a new sub..what do you think

13ov2 in mind. what your opinions, i listen to rob zombie, metallica, and some jayz. looking for a sound quality sub that will hit hard, a pair roughly i think undecided. 12 inch. i want that bass to hit and hit hard, but i'm not looking for anything that people can hear me coming 10 miles away. my current system is/was a pair of JLwo's about what 150 watts...lol so i'm looking to upgrade seen these what do you members think. either that or maybe a set of w3's or a single w6. give me you opinions and options...willing to listen. i would like to stay at 1000 watts and under, (thats pushing it)

the 13Ov.2 is a GREAT sub, compared to what i've heard. i have one right now, in a 2 cube @ 29Hz enclosure and it sounds great. i listen to mainly hardcore, grindcore, metal, a lot of stuff with the quick double bass kicks, and it hits every one of them and does it wonderfully. i will say, i think 2 cubes might be a little big, but it still sounds great. i think it would be a good choice.

i will admit, i think the rl-p is a better sub, as it will get louder, but the 13Ov.2 has great SQ and still does good in the SPL. it is a very good SQL sub, but it is cheaper than the rl-p.

i had a 13ov.2 in a 1.5 cf @ 30hz and a 1.0cf sealed paired with the nine.2x (600w). My advice is get something else, there are much better subs in the price range. I was very disappointed beacuse I used to use one of their flat cones and it was a very good sub.

whats soundspliter like, never heard them, and what would we all suggest as a setup, 2 12's or 1 and which amp to push them. once again 1000 total for either 1 or 2 subs, etc... blah balh blah

Why just 12's? You may want to consider a single 12" Stereo Integrity Magnum ported. Or (2) 12" Soundstream SPL-x122's
