Electrical upgrades

So I've been wondering what i should do first for my electrical upgrade. I already have a US amps 2000XT being powered off stock alternator, battery and wiring and its playing fine and mayb some dimming but not often, however i would like to add some components that will be amped and this will put more strain on my battery and i kno will cause a lot more dimming . So my question is should i get a new battery to put up under the hood like (kinetik or optima battery)? and then do the Big 3 or do the Big 3 and install my components and amp first and see how it goes? Also i have i a feeling i should get the battery and then do big 3 as that will be better in the long run so what battery to go under the hood? i heard yellow optimas are ok but kinetik 1400's are better? any help appreciated. thanks

i would do the big 3 now or at least at the same time you did your battery. i like kinetik better for the simple reason that i have owned it longer than i have had any optima i owned and have not had an issue. the 1400 also has 5 Ah more capacity and in my experiences is not a potential pain in the butt to charge

ok so thats what i will probably end up doin..jsut stickin a 1400 under the hood and let it sit with the big 3..and ithink that should be ok..thanks man

you should see if your car can fit the HC1800. It's not much bigger and usually only $20-40 more.

Is that much better than the 1400? and if it does fit itll be ok to start up my engine with it and stop it? sorry i kno its its a noob question

yup an 1800 is bigger and has more reserve than the 1400 as well.
