electrical upgrade

i plan on gettin a mtx ta7801, could i get away on stock electrical with this amp? right now i only have 4 gauge runnin to my current amp. would i be ok runnin 4g on the ta7801 until i have the funds to upgrade wiring to 0 gauge?

what electrical upgrades would be necessary? 0 gauge and big three be enough? or would i need a second battery?

1/0 and the big three, you should be fine... if your battery is stock, maybe upgrade to something better, but i'd do 1/0 big three, and then see how it is... i run 1400 watts off stock w/ big three, no problems at all.

4ga will be fine for the power the amp needs... might get a little bit of dimming with stock electrical though.

i see. so i guess i should be fine, upgrade the electrical first.

the 4 gauge is fine, but would there be a performance difference if upgraded my power wire to 0? i looked up the manual online and it shows 0 g for the power.
