electrical requirements for strapping 2 aq1200's @1ohm

right now have a 150 amp alt, 2 40ah agm in back, 2 runs of 0gauge cable, big 3 is this enough or need more? not gonna be hammering it all the time dont drive it that much just seeing if I need more

man thats plenty i ran 2saz 1000d on 4 gauge and a extra deka 9a31..assuming u r strapping at 2 ohms ..1 ohm per amp

I asked the same question about lowering ohm loads on an amp below recommended impedance, and it sounded great voltage was stable 13.6v-12.0 at full tilt and did great for a week.............so I was a little shocked when the fire started! and now I have an awesome new paper weight!

That is NOT stable voltage, especially dropping to 12.0.

OP you might need a little more batt power, depending upon how long/loud you play it...
