Hey fellas, a buddy of mines system keeps blowing fuses, hes went through three already.. Hes running 8 Guage power wire to a JL 1000 watt amp.. Could the power wire be to small? what other problems could there be?

yeah i am gonna rerun 4 gauge for him, but if that dont fix the problem idk what else could be wrong

if the fuses didn't blow then the car would probably catch fire. you need a min 4ga with 125a fuse.
