First of all, I have my system off.

When I'm driving around town I get a CEL on my Dash saying +/- NO CHARGE for my battery. And soon after my car dies. Bummer I get a jump and make it home.

So I see if it's my battery and I switch out batteries and does the same thing (so now I have two batteries that need charging, lol) But anyways I get to sitting and im thinking OH! It must be my alternator not charging my battery, duh. So I think my alternator is bad; so ti see if that was the case I took off the + terminal to battery from the car. But to my amazement the car is still running? This means my alt is still good. But I have no idea why this phenomenon is happening. Has anyone dealth with an issue like this before?

if your car is dying while its running its your alternator.

I've never heard of it but I guess maybe if the battery isn't holding a charge it could just be burning it and ******* all the juice from your alt thereby not letting your car have any to run, but I don't think so.
