electrical noise problem

When I change my source to the radio (tuner) im getting an electrical whine from the radio itself not the speakers. Only does it when on the tuner and volume or rpms have no effect. Most recent change was grounding the rca's on the back of the radio to the radio chassis, not sure if this would cause it.

No help on this guys? I read the sticky on electrical noise problems, ill try grounding my head unit directly to the chasi and see if that helps. Other than that I think I got everything covered mentioned in the sticky.

just a crappy reception id say.......... try a diff ariel, or make sure the ariel jack is pushed all the way in and hasn't come loose when putting the deck back into the dash

It ain't the reception, now that you mention the connection I think it is too cause the plug didn't have a very snug fit. Will have to double check.
