Electrical help

I was told from a number of people on this forum that a 2000 watt system should be fine with the big three and maybe a new battery. I did the big three and then put my speakers in. I am running them on an amp that does 2000 watts at 1 ohm. When I barely turn the volume up, my headlights dim like crazy. Does anyone have an idea what is going on? Is it because I wired my subs to a 1 ohm load?
