electrical help

ok so i was installing a 4-channel amp to my speakers...when i was finished, my rear right tailight and front right parking light would not come on. i changed the bulbs for both but nothing happened. whenever i hit my brakes, both lights come on; but when i just have the lights on, the rear right light is off...anybody have an idea of what the problem is...ive been pulled over twice with warnings and its really annoying

anyhow...

check the fuse box.. could of POP-ed a fuse while installing..

lol thnx....but that was the first thing i checked

Where did you tap in the remote wire?

its tapped into the back of the HU

Check if there is a wiring harness for the rear tail light around where you installed the amp. Check if the plug, wires came loose, and make sure that the ground for the tailights didn't get loose.
