To the OP. Not to jump in on the huge argument you have going here, but Jake has a 14.4 test voltage. Which explains why you aren't getting 3K RMS.

what-da-ya-know? the 3000d was tested at 12.1V. the 3500d was test at 11.9 and still did OVER rated. i dont know where you're getting your info from bud.
