forgot about fuseing these runs...****it......

will i need to fuse ever positive run in between the bats and in between the back bat and amp? where the 4 runs come to the amp in the back there'll be 2 runs cammed into a 1 run terminal (amp will have dual 0aeg inputs). IF i were to cram 2 runs into 1 fuse block (2 fuse blocks in between the from and back bat, then another 2 between back bact and amp)....will i get added resistance? is it worth it to go ahead and get more fuseblocks? i already need a shit load of ring terminals, should i might as well start scooping up fuse blocks? or should i be and not see a differant if i squeeze 2 into 1 ina few spots like i would at the amps power terminals.........

How are you distro-ing?

You could make your own fuse block up front and in the rear...

Have all four runs come off the front batt less than 18inches, stop on a block... with a LARGE anl fuse in between... then continue the four runs to the rear.

Same on the input to the rear battery.

i lack a good distro block. i do have a few fuse blocks laying around. if i went with the idea i proposed it'd be done as close to the batteries as possible.i have just enough fuse blocks to where i can stuff 2 runs into a block right by the battery adjacent to it and have enough for front and back. im just worried about resistance if i do this.

i completely forgot about fuseing these guys. lol

yup. 4....ill need to pick up some new fuses. by next week i'll be running an atomic 5000.1 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif it is a gen 1 but im not running it lower than .7ohm dcr, and even then i probly wont be running it full tilt exept for comps. the mojo was loud enough for daily, and i wasnt even getting a full 4kw out of it....

i dont even have enough ring terminals yet to connect them to the bats. and hell if im gonan pay an asston at a shop for crimp terminals.....until next week im probly gonna just leave the runs not connected to the bats and just get them in place so all i'll need to do is fuse them and ring term crimp them to the posts.

i just figure it cant be good putting 2 runs worth of wire through a spot designed for 1 run. noent he less doing thatmore than once in the circuit. cant be good.

time to look for some cheap crimps

fuse blocks?

ive done that before with some hoem depot ring terminal connectors that fit 1/0awg. thing is for the same price i could get a used fuse block off the FS section.

It's not that big of a deal as long as it isn't really shitty, and the fuse can handle the amperage.

If I was at home I'd link you to a sweet website with ANL fuses up to 700 (?) amps... and decent fuse blocks.

it'll be solid on the fuse block. i was just gonna shave half of each run and stuff them in there. got 14 1/0 ring terminals, and 3 250amp fuses from knu for like 46 shipped.....thats about how much id pay without the fuses at a shop around here. good times with knu....

wire installation shall comence soon
