I'm not getting into this. All of the below is public knowledge, and expressed in this thread just to let everybody know.

But here is a point. The gentleman in question has been through every single build house in America. Also has reputation in China is somewhat questionable. (When you cross a company as large as Tangband that makes hundreds of thousands of drivers a year and comes up with new designs almost weekly tends to give you a bad reputation in the industry in and of itself)

All of which was always the buildhouses fault, even though the gentleman in question "designed" everything, and after being told by the engineer(s) at the buildhouse(s) that rating the products to take X amount of power is going to yield nothing but failures and returns...all the while the gentleman in question ignored all advice and continued production, with nothing but dollar signs in mind, resulting in a very high percentage of in field failures from 3 build houses alone...

Funny thing is many other manufactures in this industry still use the buildhouses that the gentleman in question had nothing but problems out of...and blamed all of the problems upon.

Their failure rates are no where near what the company in questions was...or is for that matter...

The people in this thread are not just making it up, many of 'us' have been around for many many years. I personally considered Ben a close friend until he started doing deeds that have his reputation very questionable now, and literally turned the vast majority of the internet crowd against him...

Once you cross a select few people, and businesses in this industry you are forever stamped, and black labeled as someone to not do business with, due to the high possibility of getting stabbed in the back.

Fact one, the butyl rubber content in eDead, mass of it, etc. Fact two, the debacle with JL patent ifringements that is public knowledge. As Ive stated previously, Ben has since removed the letter admitting the situation existed, in his own words. If you do not take my word for it that it was there, ask anyone who followed the situation a few months ago.

As for the third... what? I try to only mention those two situations, as they are the only ones I witnessed personally. I was here for all the complaints from people with broken 15" cones, that got no warantee. I was here for all the complaints of pre-orders with no product, nor no refund. But I was not one of those people, and even though the overwhelming number of complaints would indicate its true, I still do not mention those.

Besides, how many stories of a company out and out lying to customers, cheating them, or trying to steal designs... does a person need before they start smelling what stinks?

That's what is so great about eD, there's always plenty of ammo. I generally just cherry-pick the best scandals to mention. God only knows how many scandals there really are.
