oh so your talking bout the test done by eD themselves. obviously they are gonna have it making more power than its rated for, they are trying to sell them and all ya know. I have yet to see a bench test done by anyone outside of eD. They also try and tell people that the ov2 has the ability to get louder than the old A series when the A has over 10mm more xmax and has a 3" coil vs. 2.5". do you know why, because they don't sell the A anymore and they have loads of ov2's for sale.......I refuse to buy anything else from eD until they stop their shady business ethics.

nice job trying to put words in my mouth. Look at ALL the specs and tell me that the ov2 should yield a higher max spl. The specs will tell you that its more efficient than the A series which would allow it to be louder than the A at any wattage up to the thermal limits of the sub, which considering the difference in coil size will limit the ov2 well before the A. Now give the A all the wattage it can handle (not how much the ov2 can handle) and see what happens....but oh yeah, then ben couldn't say that the ov2 is eD's loudest sub ever made...lmfao.

well first off, i'd like to say there was no need to be a dlck about it assuming i'm talking out of my *** when you have no clue....

Back on topic,

i'm currently running the nine.1 to a eD 15AE and memphis mc300 to boston pro60's. I was previously running a nine.2 but swapped it for the memphis and just also bought a mojo that i'm going to be swapping in for the nine.1. My friend runs a diamond d6 1100 i think, could be 1500 to two 12'' tdx's. I've also seen plenty of AB stuff as one of my local dealers sell them. I've had plenty of amps in my day, i've owned:

xtant 302a, 301a in one install then upgraded to 604x, 1001dx.

orion hcca 275r (2) (new car and install)

mtx801d (beater car install)

eD nine.1 and nine.2 (new truck install)

memphis mc300 and mc2000d (upgraded from install with eD)

i've also seen craploads of other amps as well as i do most of my friends' installs over the years. I'm not a dumb teenager who talks out of his ***. If i haven't used it then i won't comment on it.

I think my D61500.1 made 1840 watts @1ohm 13.5volts
