I was wondering which of these 3 subs are better than the other because I just can't decide which one is the highest quality(price is not an issue). And would they be better sealed or vented?

I'm mainly going for SQ, and deep, rich tones that can also be punchy when needed. I will be running 1 sub off of a Nine.1 amp. All info would be appreciated.

dont even involve the OV2 in a sentence that the IDMAX is in please. not even comparable. IIRC - ED outsources to ID, and ED's subs are on par with the ID-ID subs... maybe tweaked a little more. the idmax (and OZ matrix eliete) is a large step above the OV2.

as far as the D6, i would look further to the TDX (d9 iirc) to be able to compare with the IDmax.

if you want DEEEP notes, go infinite baffle with the IDMAX and ~800w. punchy\deep go with a recommended sealed box with the idmax, from the three you listed - the IDmax is in a higher league. period.

yeah it would be perfect, idmax is very effiecent, they will even get loud wit 500 watts

should work quite well in a larger sized sealed box, if you are looking for deeper notes and some upper bass (80~150hz) then you would prolly want a little more power, musical you will only see ~500w if you ran the 9.1 at 2ohms. better if you could get a DVC2 idmax

honestly, the 9.1 is a way better amp than hifonics stuff. it would be eaiser to get a DVC2 idmax, any reason why you are shying away from that?

no, i've never heard of the dvc2 idmax's... i'm not shying away from them either, i was just wondering if maybe the brutus would be a better choice

Do you really want to pair something like an ID MAX with a Hifonics amp? It deserves better...

i currently have an IDMAX paired with a PG Xenon 600.1 in a 2.0 cf box. sounds very nice. box is a little bigger than spec, but it seems to match well with the 600 watts i'm giving it. oh yeah, and i got mine for 215 shipped //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif used of course.

when comparing subs its always easier if they are in the same

catagory.... the eD and the D6 are comprable but the ID max is a step up

from the other 2 models,compare IDmax to a D9 or a W7 is more on even keel
