Hi, I am new to this forum and I kinda need some help etc. I have recently purchased a new CD8445 and I am getting plenty of trouble to upload movies to it.
I have downloaded everything that was necessary from the eclipse website but despite following the manual and their instruction from the website I cannot upload anything to the deck!
I haven't bought a memory stick as yet, so I am trying to use the CD-R method of uploading stuff............And when I say stuff I mean the movies eclipse has on their website of a circuit car race etc. Can you really customize this deck as they say you can?
I keep getting the error message "file err" everytime I try it! This is really frustrating me! I am starting to wonder if the deck is defective although everything else seems to be working fine??? This is an important feature that i must get working! I would really like to customize it withmy own pics etc. It already doesn't have much graphics anyway.
Also what is the little metal box for? It is connected to some sort of cable in the back of the deck, does this have to do with anything that i am asking? What is this used for?
Please anyone with advice/help on this would greatly be appreciated!
