Eclipse CD8053 with AUX input for Ipod with CD changer

I recently acquired an Eclipse CD8053 head unit. Also, picked up an Eclipse 5083 6-disc changer. I thought I could hook up the changer and still have use of the AUX input for my Ipod/Iphone. But, when reading the CD8053 manual, it shows only the one input for both. Apparently, if looks like the changer gets hooked up to the AUX input slot. If I am using one, it looks like I cannot use the other.

Does anyone know a way where I can have both the CD changer and Ipod hooked up to the Cd8053 simultaneously?

Thanks, so I can hookup both the changer and Iphone simultaneously? That is very good to hear. I have not yet looked at the back of the unit, it is still in the box. The manual does not show a good photo of the back of the CD8053.
