Would these batts be any use?

I repair power chairs for medicare for a living. So I come across free battery's all the time. Not really sure what specs to look for, but would put these in the back not under the hood. Just wondering if keeping them is worth it.

I've seen people run Univeral Battery brand. 75ah, looks like a good secondary battery. $130+ online so if it's in good working condition, it's worth using as a secondary battery.

They're ok, but a deka is substantially better. i would have it load tested at a shop to determine the condition. Age is always a factor. I used to have 12-55 one of these in my trunk a long time ago.

I have univ3rsal. BAtts in my jeep. The 26ah ones and I love them period.

I have a 100A load tester, I come across these all the time so its not just this one. I also junk good U1 battery's all the time, there 35Ah but if I wired them in parallel ide be useful?

Honestly I don't know what to look at for back batts, what's the rule of thumb?

I don't have a lot of experience with secondary batteries, but generally you want a sealed battery with a high AH rating. Someone with more knowledge can chime in on other specs to look for but AH is usually what I see people looking for.

The Car audio scene suggests 100ah for every 1k watts.

XS Power Suggests 1 XS Power D3100 for every 5k.

In reality it all depends on what your alternator power is. Batteries just keep you stable @ 12.5v anything higher you would need alternator power to up that voltage.
