ebay seller sold me a blown hk4000d! so i did this!

I only buy stuff that I can go pick up locally. As far as the ebay listing, I would have assumed something was wrong with it. As-is means that something's wrong in my book. I'll never buying anything that has as-is in the description...didn't the $200 selling price clue you in to why no one was bidding on it? As far as I can tell the seller didn't do anything wrong...
x2

why wouldn't you tell potential buyers the item is damaged. is it that you know you would get higher bids if people don't know the amp is shot?

I'm glad paypal wont let people hide behind misleading words and that as-is sheit.

look at my ebay feadback. i have sold several batts as-is.

I think your a bad buyer.

who knows if you blew it or not?. You should have made a vid of you taking it out of the package at the shop and testing it.

The seller clearly stated as is, and implied no warranty towards anything. . For you to claim its broken is not cool at this stage of the game.

There is a thing on ebay that says "Ask seller a qeustion" maybe like "Does it work" "Can you have a shop verify?"

so when i got it out the box and saw that it was blown, i should have smiled and said to myself "he got me"?

no, You should have asked if it was working, saved that email.. then open it at the shop and have it tested, tapeing that event.

Right now its a he said she said...

and when I ship amps, I video ( uncut, no cut scenes) them working, unhooked and placed in package for shipping. I seal and sign the seal, so it cant be opened. Then I save that video just in case a guy like you buys my shit.

so you mean to say if someone stats as is but does not say its broken we should assume that it is broken? i don't think that makes sense. he should clear state it is is broken condition and say as is.

To me, as-is means "it may work, it maybe not...but probably not." If someone doesn't have enough confidence in what they're selling to say that the item is functioning or will be functioning fine upon arrival, then something is up. Always be skeptical, especially when someone has ZERO feedback. If there's any doubt, which there should have been, then ask questions...

Like i said before, you are lucky that someone at paypal isn't doing they're job right.

Nowhere does he state it is working, and it CLEARLY says AS-IS

if the dipshit at paypal picked up a dictionary you would be screwed:

as is, in whatever condition something happens to be, esp. referring to something offered for sale in a flawed, damaged, or used condition:
I am not trying to be an *** or anything but IMO the seller has not done anything wrong.
