Do these gains look ok?

sub: 15" ia li wired at 2 ohms

amp: hifonics 1208d

level: around 3v

phase: 0

Bass EQ: 0

subsonic:28-30

lowpass: 170-200

do those seem ok?

i also did not install bass boost.

the reason i ask is because the volume and bass dont rise equally... i have to turn the volume way way up to the point where its distorted before i have full output on my subs

no. a fellow member mlstrass set them for me.. he said i should be pretty good to go with those settings once i hooked everything up.. could also be a setting on my HU

do you have a "sub out" or subwoofer setting on the HU? if so, max it out. then set the gain. NOT BASS BOOST.

lol he just set it at what he thought would be a good start for me once i popped them in there.. he said i still might have to adjust some things

why max is out? i've never done this...

X2, mines around 65, only problem is some midbasses have trouble getting that low to fill out the frequancy range

right you have to have good componets on amp power or active front stage but its so much better

Be careful with that since almost all preouts clip at max voltage
