eBay/Paypal problem

OK so here is the problem. I sold an item on eBay back on Feb 19. Shipped it out to the guy like the 23rd around there. He got it and never left me feedback or any thing. I also had shipped two other items that same day to different people around the USA. One of the guy also lived in CAL (same as this guy). He got his item and left me feedback and all. Now...a month later! This guy files a claim with Paypal!! He didn't leave a reason for filing the claim or anything. I have no idea why he filed a claim. I have emailed him several times already and he doesn't seem to be willing to reply. I told him if the item was damaged I am willing to replace it and all. I just want to solve the problem. He doesn't reply to me. I replied to paypal and told them that I think this guy is just trying to pull a scam off here and get his money back and keep the item. Now the case is under review by paypal.

Anybody ever had a similar problem??

Also I only had $40 in my paypal account and the item sold for $270 so Paypal took $270 away from me! Now my account reads $-230

He might be trying to scam you (by getting refunded from PayPal and still having your shit), and if you cant provide proof that you shipped then you might be focked...

Just provide them with the shipping receipt and you should be fine.

Its just frozen funds, he has the same on his end. Although if he had nothing to take and doesnt use his account then he has the money and its not looking good.

Right now I can't! The only thing is my refs on eBay but that isn't proof. I think I just lost $270

Thats why I save ALL of mine. Some of them dating back a couple years...

I usually save all of mine but he was one of the first that I sold to on eBay and he told me he got it by AIM so I didn't worry much about it. I think I threw it away.

Try contacting whoever you used to ship it. They should have both a hard copy and one in the system if theyre willing to give it to you...idunno

Did you ship UPS? They keep records of EVERYTHING.. Go down there and give them your address, and his, and they should be able to give you a new copy of the reciept. And that should solve your problem, as long as weight and everything with the shipment appears valid for whatever you were shipping.

Good luck getting it sorted, d00d. If you cannot produce that proof that the item shipped you may be on the short end of the stick here, unfortunately.

Did you ship UPS? They keep records of EVERYTHING.. Go down there and give them your address, and his, and they should be able to give you a new copy of the reciept.

Nah I stopped shipping through them because they always delay my packages in my area so customers start complaining and I get blammed for it. Sent it via USPS.
