really because everywhere i read says that 55w ballast wash out color to the equivilant of 35w ballast on next lower kelvin soo ....

but 55w is too bright to have without projectors....i dont think you understand its more than tossing a light in

why don't you look at one of the projector kits that google turns up....that's going to give you the best results

all the retrofit kits seem to be 3-400 bucks....and from video ive seen of ddm kits the 55 arent blinding bright

i can do the retrofit kit no problem ..the thing is i havent even bought the assembly that i plan ob droppin the hid in ...but from what ive seen all the projectors offered for my car are really ricey looking so if someone can point out some that arent ill gladly look at them....so ur saying even in the right housing 55w 8k is too much? or no

dont mean to thread jack but there is no point in making another thread for this one question. im going to buy this: Factory White H7 5000k HID Light Conversion Kit

my audi a4 already has stock projectors on it, so no need to worry about blinding people. now with the 35w 5k for my low beams, would there even be a point to buy high beams as well? or will these be bright as hell already?
