I want to ditch the stock 4x6 front speakers and with speaker adapters, get a pair of 6.5"s I want to run them off an amp to get the most I can get out of them. I will be getting a pair of Pioneer REV's (http://www.millionbuy.com/piotsd161r.html) and powering them with this Coustic Audio 400 watt 2 ch amp (http://www.coustic.com/products/amplifiers/400S.cfm). It may not be the best, but I got it for free. This is where my question comes in.

I currently have a Pioneer 5800MP HU, Profile AP1000M amp, and a single 12" Kicker CVR sub. How do I power both amps? What kind of rewiring do I need run? What needs to be done in order to make my new speakers work properly?

Thanks for your help!

you need a distro block in order to send the signal of the pos to 2 dif amps. not very hard. if you are amping them which i believe you said you have to know the impedance the amp can do. your speakers are 4 ohms, your amp should be fine, but double check it can do 4 ohms. then once you get your speakers if there is a certain way to wire it to 4 ohms which should just be POS to POS on amp and NEG to NEG on amp, but your amp must be 4 ohms too.

that should be it.

My current amp kit is 4 gauge wire. Does that mean I want a 4 gauge dist block?

For the RCA splitters, which do I want? Two males and one female? Or two females and one male?
