earthquake ph 5000 ohm question

hi people new to the forum i have 2 12in l7 kickers and 2 15in l5s kickers all 4ohms had them hooked up the a soundstream 1400.2 (1400 watts rms) tarantula in series/parallel to 2ohms they hit pretty hard well now i ran into a earthquake ph 5000 it supposed to be 3000 watts rms at 2ohms hooked it up and its a little bit louder but not much was expecting more do my fusses have anything to do with it? i have a 160 amp alt 2 batterys 2gage wire from first battery to second with a 150 amp fuse than 4 gage wire from second battery to amp with 150amp fuse also, 8 gage wires to speakers i would like to know if i did anything wrong and does anyone know how low in ohms will the earthquake amp go for daily driver i can run the 4 speakers in 8 - 2 -or .5 ohm load i have it hooked up at 2 right now and i also have a huge computer fan installed herd they run hot, now runs cool to the touch all day long thanks in advance
