e-designs subs???

was wondering if anyone has had experience (success) with these subs... especially the lower end, like the kv series... might do a trade for a pair of e16kv.2
are they durable? i know my sx can handle more than rated daily, but can these?

can they take 600+ daily with gain set correctly???

do they get loud? seem like sq drivers to me... are they indeed sq drivers?

comparison:

sx 15 v.s (2) e16kv.2 (ovbiously install dependant, but in their correct sql boxes off of 1200rms)

I've heard a 13 kv2 in a sealed box and it sounds really good. SQ is about the best I have heard (in the sense that it sounds good with any type of music). Sounds good with all music rap to classical. It doesn't get insanely loud but it did surprise me for being a single 12 sealed have to go through the heavily insulated rear seats of a bmw. SQ is better than my flat cone k's and although it doesn't get as loud as my 2 10" k's, I'm sure 2 13kv2's would blow my 2 10" k's away.

would the 2 kv.2s be close to the sx in spl but sound better doing it :/

They're fine, but I think there are much better options out there. The kv2's dont really bring any advantages in comparision to the normal infinitys and alpines. You do however get eD's crap reputation though.

As for them being sq woofers, they are not, they're just cheap subwoofers, stamped basket, small magnets, soft suspension, its nothing to get excited about. In the right box they can be good woofers, so use the site's plans.

I dont see how they are "SQ" subwoofers. I mean, the cones are made out of plastic, not really something I would expect to find in a nice stereo.
