Dynaudio 3 way set - Can I change the midbass?

Hey guys real newbie here, just have a question... Lets say I have a PASSIVE xo ver. The set is a Dynaudio 360 with a 6.5, 4" midrange, and a tweeter.

Can I or could I use correctly a different midbass driver? I just hooked them up, and they actually pound. BUT I wanted a larger woofer in there.

They are the MW160 and I was thinking the 170 or 172 in there.

If anyone has any input or suggestions I would be happy to hear!

By the way, the amp driving them is 650.5 DC Zapco amp which has channels 1-4 bridged to 180x2 or so on the 3 way set.

Thank you!

no it will blow up your car. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

you can, but you need to make sure that the crossover point fits the driver.

If you think they pound (i'm guessing you like them?) then why are you complaining? You just want them to be bigger? Is it purely an astetic value?

If it ain't broke don't fix it!
