It's too bad you deadened already, it would have been cool to have a comparison of before and after...all I know is that there is ONE rattle in my car that I can't stand and need to fix lol

Before when I had my other setup I had this one rattle in my roof console that I cant stop....So I gave up on it

I would use fatmatt you can get 100sq of there 80 mill for like 140 = 20 shipping or 100sq of regular is like 40 mill for like 90 + 20 shipping on ebay. It works good and dosent fall of in extreme heat like alot of the other cheap stuff.

Bad and inaccurate advice in a thread talking about Dynamat Xtreme and Damplifier. FatMat is Peel & Seal, cheap asphalt roofing material. Your assertion about heat tolerance is completely false. Pretty much like suggesting dirt in a discussion of the relative tastiness of lobster v. steak.

Once again, spend your $100 on a good butyl deadener and it will work better than $100 worth of asphalt. Butyl works better, won't fail and won't fill your car with toxic fumes. Yeah, paying extra to have a logo printed on the exact same stuff you can buy at Home Depot (but shouldn't) makes a lot of sense.

Rudy have u ever used fatmatt? I have used both Dynamat and fatmatt and for starters there is no odor with fatmatt. On top of that for the dollar aspect you will get way farther on fatmatt. When you need like 200 + square to do your car have fun paying for Dynamat or something along it's price point. I do not think fatmatt is better I have used both and feel they both get the job done ones alot cheaper then the other though. And talking about dirt and lobster LOL? Also as to heat I just stated in hot weather like 90 plus days when ur car is well over 100+ it will not fall off like i have seen several other products do. IMO I just cant see spending that much more money for the same results.
