DVC vs SVC size...

ok i know this might sound like a noob question but say you take the same model sub...one that has a single voice coil and one that has dual voice coils... i was just wondering, are the dvc's basically the same size as the single combined? or can duals usually larger or anything?

X2, I had one of my DVC 1508's reconed to SVC so the gap/coil should be the same size
