DVC 1 ohm sub

Need assistance wiring (1) DVC 1 ohm sub. The amp is a HCCA-D5000 and I plan to run it at a 0.5 ohm. How do you correctly wire the sub?

Like this (disregarding that this diagram is labeled for a DVC 2 Ohm driver as the wiring method is still correct for your desired result):

pos (amp) to pos(coil) to pos(coil)

neg(amp) to neg(coil) to neg(coil)
