DVA 9965 - Who's used one?

I have, installed about 5 of them...

Was in our demo car @ work...

The glide touch is QUITE a bit better IMO than the normal 9855 deck of that year.

It takes some getting used to, but once you do it's like second nature.

i like the glidetouch, a lot of people btch about it, but like ng said, once you get used to it, its pretty cool. Plus it impresses a lot of people when they see it, since its pretty unique.

So is the gt used to control everything? Like different functions like t/a / crossover etc? OR can that be controlled from the knob as well? I thought the usage was a little different in the 9965 as in it was used more for navigation of songs etc.

Thanks for the input so far.

well i dont have the model you are talking about, so im sure there are differences. But basically it controls most of the functions.

On mine for ex. it is used for the preset stations, eq functions, FF/Rev, skip track, etc. However i mainly use my remote anyway so i rarely even have to use the GT.

Also pricing anyone? Cheapest place? And finally it's not touch screen right?
