I had always heard that only one of two coils connected would fry the sub... I guess I learned something too. I'll pick these up tomorrow and update the thread on how they sound. I'll test them before I buy them. I have an old crappy crunch amp ready to go; should do 175rms x 2 @ 2 ohms. Hopefully its enough to get them moving. The amp is running 10's now so I know it works.
