Dual 10” 4th order Bandpass Build

I have been playing around with designs, this one is a 4th order 3 chamber (2 separate sealed firing into a single vented chamber) bandpass designed around a set of 10” assassins.

Here are the specs:

S Value : 0.70

Gain : 2 dB

Fb : 52Hz

Passband :

Lower cutoff 32Hz

Upper cutoff 85Hz

More to come when it get a little warmer... Let me know what you think.

my guess would be less turbulance? lol but doesnt seem like it would be...since it is sealed anyways...

Why are you recessing the subs if they aren't going to be visible?

I am recessing the subs so that the net volume of the port area is not effected by the small mass of the drivers face. With them sitting flush it would have caused turbulance due to restriction volume in the vented area and would have caused the passband to change.

Also, I flipped the recess around to make it easier to place the driver, you will see in upcoming photos.

Nice detail and some thought went into it.

Are these going to be 180 degrees out a phase? Seems that they would cancel each other out firing that close at each other?

I designed it around the drivers being in phase, but I will be giving area to change this internal when I start to test.
