Ok so i'm saving for rims and putting performance aside for a few months on my dakota. the new rim's i'm going to get later this summer are a 29.7" diameter after the tire and that's smaller than the tires i have now so i need the gap smaller. anyway, if ya wanted to know, these are the rims i'm getting : http://superbuytires.com/Boss/Type%20313/ in the black. anyway, i'm thinking i might lower the truck 2" in front and 2" in back or 2" in front and 4" in back. I'm wondering what i should use to do it and if it would be gay or look tight.

Thanks in advance.

Nope, put it on the ground. FTW //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif If you can find a 2"/3" drop, that would work good. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif

why did you decide to go with a smaller overall rolling diameter?

personally i think a smaller than factory size is gonna look so small in the wheel well, whether its stock height or lowered

20" chrome rim's won't exactly make it look smaller. and i can't get bigger as they won't fit. the truck is a dodge dakota, jacking up a dakota= the gay. lowering it to the ground= the gay. i don't want it so low that when i put the r/t engine in this year, and put a supercharger in later this year i lose control. that's why i'm lowering it, guess i should have been more clear on the details lol.

the factory size is a 30" tire, the one's i have on now are just 1 size up. if i lower the truck it'll make the wheel well look smaller that's why i'm wanting to do it aside from the added performance handling i'll get with a slight drop.

Drop it. Go with a 2/4 drop or whatever will level out the truck front/rear //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

any idea's what kit/parts to use? i've never looked into it, i've found a few kits for the truck but it brings it 2/4 and i'm not sure i want the rear lowered that much that's the problem.

last question, what all do i need and preferred brands of peeps who have done this.

i think s-10s and dakota look way better dropped and then bigger trucks like older rams and silverados look better lifted.

new rams and silverados and f-150s are to styled to look very good lifted anymore i think with exceptions like bri's truck. that thing is incredible
