that is the ugliest body kit I've ever seen on a truck... looks like it belongs on a mid 90's civic...

Durrrr.....

It's because in trucks ALL the weight is in the front... like... the engine etc... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

No weight in the back, so it needs to be lowered more to give the even look. Unless you want to drive around with a FULL payload all the time.

So, on trucks... un-even is standard. Usually 2/3 or 2/4 drops to start off with.

i figured it might be an even out.... but they DO have the front ends jacked up in socal... it's well... stupid...

"Skeet" is actually a form of birth control practiced by the African-American tribes of North America near the beginning of the 21st Centruy. Visionaries of the time (such as Lil Jon and Nelly) recognized the inevitable and everpresent danger of overpopulation in their land and decided to take action. They discovered an ancient form of birth control used by their ancestors that involved "pulling out and shooting" (much like skeet shooting) during sexual intercourse, as to not impregnate the female, or "biatch". The visionaries spread the word the only way they knew how: rap music. People would listen to the songs of the visionaries during ritual smoking ceremonies and chant "skeet skeet skeet!". Every tribe of their kind in the land listened to rap music and the idea of skeeting quickly gained in popularity. Soon, the entire African-American tribe had done its part to offset the effects of overpopulation through generations of skeeting on the women that they did not wish to impregnate. However, the other tribes of the land (most notabley, the Whites and Mexicans) did not support the "Skeet Movement". They continued to grow in number until the Whites eventually ate the Mexicans. The Whites, however, refused to eat the African-Americans for fear of sickle cell anemia, so they all got on a very large boat and went back to England.
I know this doesn't fit into this thread but I read the skeet thing in Leo's sig and thought I'd find out...

this is what I found...

the truck was chosen for the 4/5 drop not the bumper...

so please refrain from trying to act like im implying he needs to get a front bumper

Thats the desert look. It's usually a side effect of long travel front suspension/fiberglass fenders and really soft rear springs.

Yeah 2/4 is the way i'm REALLY thinking of going. i won't bag as i hate bag's and prefer the ride of a nice suspension over bags. i don't want it on the ground but i also don't want it looking gay with sweet 20" rims and then a 6" gap in the wheel well lol. I'm going for a sweet looking truck and i'm almost there just need the rims, lowered and a bed cover and i'm done. figure i'll buy the kit first, then the rims, then the bed cover and be done. that way i'm pleased with the looks so performance can come next:D.

my friend has a bagged blazer and at ride heihgt the back end is only 2-3 inches off the ground where as the front is at normal stock height, but when he parks it and turns it off it lowers to lay frame. i believe that is what you are referring to

boss wheels are realy cheap and will pit pretty bad if not kept up.

As far as the drop id do 3" in the front with coils and 4" in the rear with either 4" block (cheap way) or 2" block and 2" leaf.

3" front will make the front lower than the back, i'm going for an even ride. what is pit? i've never known any problems with boss rims and 2-4 of my friends have had em'.

Glad I measured before buying the drop kit lol. It's 33.5" from the ground to the center of the wheel well in front, and 34.5" in the back. With the tires/rims that i'm going to get being at 29.7" if i lower it 4" in back it'd **** near be rubbing. I'm thinking 2" all around now to leave 2" up front and 3" in back between well and tire. What do you think?

If 2/3 makes it sit level go with it IMO.

Nope, put it on the ground.
