Drinking and Lifting

Well, I don't necessarily agree with your breakdown of workouts, but that is beside the point, because there are thousands of people who think that that breakdown is the be-all and end-all of routines.
So here is the all-important question:

Are you getting ANY stronger?

yeah im stronger than ever..and im only 20

It looks good, but personally I like to spread out my chest/tri and back/bi workout a little just because the muscles are worked with alot of the same lifts. You could even try chest/back bi/tri for a few weeks just to get out of ordinary. How long do you usually spend in the gym. Sometimes if im stuck at a certain weight i find myself overtraining and back off a little either on time at the gym or reps on a certain lift. When was the last time you took a week off. Often when ive been training hard for a few months it does me alot of good to just take a week and do some light cardio or even take it completely off. I typically come back just as strong if not stronger with more energy. What do you guess your body fat is? Assuming your a decent bf you might just not be eating enough food. On avg what would you say your caloric intake is roughly. Is it mostly carbs, protien, fat? If you think your diet is in check try changing up the routine, if that doesnt work its with your diet for sure. Make sure your eating lots of complex carbs and high protien foods.

yeah sounds good...diet is my main priority right now cause its hard here at school...maybe ill try that changing up my routine

This thread makes me giggle.... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif
oh let me guess.. Ur way is the best , right????

Why dont you post something worth reading if ur just gonna be a douche

Bro trust me you are fine with these supplements. Creatine is mearly a salt that is naturally occuring in fish, pork, steak, pretty much any meat. The only negative sides you will possibly have with creatine is water bloat. And from someone who took creatine for the first 2 years of his training, it really isnt that miraculous as everyone says. You are much better off spending the money on steak and a good protien source for pre/post workout IMHO.
I have no problem with creatine. I was just using it as an example saying EVEN creatine some people think is harmful. The only way I think creatine can be harmful is if you completely overdose on it. Then you can damage your kidneys. But that is true for other safe things as well, such as whey protein. But in moderation I don't have any problem with it.

It is the stuff like NO XPLODE that I would never use. Stuff that hasn't been tested nearly as much as creatine, isn't FDA approved, and doesn't give out a complete list of ingriedients that are found in it.

Nitric Oxide products have been around quite a while. BSN basically took viagra, tamed it down a bit, added some sugar, put it in a red bottle and told ronnie coleman to hold it and smile. The worst side you will experience with NO product is a minor headache. And most vitamins and nutritional supplements arent approved by the FDA either. Im not trying to be a dick and argue with you, and to be honest most supplements like creatine and NO is very worthless as far as actual muscle building goes and companies like BSN, Muscletech, VPX etc put out crappy products(at least the new stuff is) and hype it up to be great so high school kids go into their local GNC and spend hundreds of dollars on it. lol very similar to how the car audio industry works.

Creatine is not salt. It does make you bloat like salt however.

What about the other ingriedients that aren't listed on the label?

I am especially cautious because in college I could have failed drug tests just from the ingriedients they failed to mention on the container. That is part of the reason why I am against most of these products. Not to mention with the little/no benefits they have to offer, why would anyone even bother taking any of them.

But just out of curiousity, what types of legal supplements can you take that you will see massive gains with? If there is even such a supplement.

Somatomax. But it should be illegal soon. Take it while you still can

Some supplements worth taking:

Alpha Lipoic Acid

Flaxseed oil or any other omege 3 fatty acid supplement

Zinc and magenezium is know to increase natural testosterone

Daily vitamin

And the most important, PROTIEN!

There are many more. I don't waste my money on prohormones. They can actually raise testosterone levels and estrogen levels as well. You can actually develop little titis if your not careful. This is very rare though but it does happen.

Me too.
I used to swim 30 miles a week, and there was no way I wasn't burning as many calories as a weight lifter. I would have a daily intake of about 4000 calaroies, eat as much as I could possibly stand to eat, and still wouldn't gain any fat.

There is a reason they call weightlifting anaerobic, and activities like swimming/running aerobic excercises.
just saying you eat alot and not gaining weight isnt just a factor of aerobic activities or even excercising at all

i know several people at work, in the military, who eat junk food all day long. just continually snack and never really eat real meals. also never excercise and still run sub 20 min 3 miles get near perfect score pft's and never gain a pound. in fact most of them look and are really in shape. genes is as much a part as anything.

ive been going to the gym for several months, doing aerobic activities at least three times a week and havent even lost any weight. i have gained muscle but not lost any weight. on top of this i have been eating a ton healthier.

and also the strongest most muscled "huge" guy in my unit drinks like a fish almost daily and is one of the strongest people ive ever met.

Whoow there killer, take it easy on me. You would feel the same way if you go over to the Bodybuilding websites and read what they recommed for Car Audio! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif You'll be alright man....
