Drinking and Lifting

Creatine is not salt. It does make you bloat like salt however.
Creatine is a salt. While it is not your typical table salt it is a naturally occuring salt found in all types of meats and in humans in the form of creatinine. If you look at the chemical make ups and molecular structures of common table salt and creatine or creatinine you will find numerous similarities.

Whoow there killer, take it easy on me. You would feel the same way if you go over to the Bodybuilding websites and read what they recommed for Car Audio! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif You'll be alright man....
Your the one who came into the thread insulting people. And if I remember correctly some of your comments when i frequented bb.com werent too great either. I havent been on there in a while so i might be mistaken but i thought i remember someone by the name of platestacker being flamed by ppl. Like i said i havent been there since alot of the vets/good threads left but i think i remember you. If not sorry for the mistake, but maybe instead of flaming people you should help them with your knowledge.

If you looked back at my orginal post in this thread, you will see that I never did insult anyone! I don't understand were you got this from... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif And yes, you are right about me and BB.com's forum. That was me. People will ask for opinions and advice and I would give it to them. Some diden't like my advice and would cry about it and start calling me names, and THAT is why all the vets and real BodyBuilders have left that joke of a forum! I just tell it how it is. I will call a ugly baby, a ugly baby. Don't ask for opinions if you are sensitive about what you might get back as a result.

I never asked for any advice I was only helping those who may not know as much as I do. When someone named platestacker comes into a thread about lifting weights and says "This thread makes me giggle.... " it really shows how big of a know it all you are. You obviously are trying to show that you are **** of the walk i mean look at your avatar and then you come into a thread and instead of helping you make a pointless comment just to show people you are present and know more than they do. This is how you were at bb.com too. And trust me while stupid questions might have been while alot of us left bb.com, its not the whole reason. You are probably not as "in the know" as you think you are.

there is a difference between making a comment that some will disagree with and being a jackass.

I diden't mean to scare or itimidate anyone by my Avatar. The reason I'm not "helping" is because there aren't any questions being asked. There are just a bunch of (in my opinon) ridiculus statements being made. I will be the first to admit, I am very much "in the know". More that you think I am. I would never come into a car audio forum as a newbie and start telling Vets how they are wrong. Why would you do that at the Bodybuilding forums? 90% of those guys (kids) are not bodybuilders and don't even want to become one. They should not be on those forums. And trust me, everyone here at CA.com would shake their head at the answers when someone asks about Car Audio advice over on those forums.

Okay, I'll bite. Post Bench, deadlift, squat 1-rep and 5-rep max weights, body weight, and height.

Let's see how I stack up to a "platestacker."

I don't think that he really came here to flame, and I have to agree with him that there is a LOT of marginal (at best) or flat-out bad advice in this thread.

I am not a nutritionist, trainer, or fitness "guru," but I know enough to know that a lot of what has been said in here is repeating of marketing hype and disinformatin from some "natural" at the local gym who takes certain things that work for them, but that might not work for an average lifter.

Haven't powerlifted since I was 17 my friend. Couldn't tell ya my 1 rep maxes, I could guess but they're not that high. I compete in Bodybuilding now a days and no need for that nonsence anymore. And I'm not looking to stir up some $hit either, I was just saying how some of ya'll are so stereotypical and I knew exactly what was going to be posted on this tread before I even clicked on it. It's all good though. ^^^ Edit: Coulden't of said it better my brother ^^^^^

That's cool. Right after I posted, I edited it because I wanted specify that I was NOT intending to call you out.

I cannot gain weight despite my workout weights moving up constantly, and though I gain core mass and general size in my arms/legs, I cannot move my chest out to get the size that I'd need to do bodybuilding. I have doubled my bench press (150 to over 300) and added 30 lb. of body weight since I stopped wrestling, and in that time I have only gained 1" across my chest, though I added 2.5" across my back in the same time. BF went from 2-3% to about 7-8 at the present time.

Dude, search yahoo for bodybuilding. The first thing that comes up is bb.com. Why do you think that is the biggest bb forum on the internet. For someone starting out it is a great place. There is a TON of great information on diet/training available. And nobody is scared by your traps, trust me. You my friend are the reasons bodybuilders get a bad name. You have to act like you have something to prove to everyone and you are gods gift to earth. You come on the internet and expect people to be intimidated. Honestly when i first joined this board, before i knew who you were or put your name together, i was glad to see another bodybuilder that looked like he knew what he was doing. But now i remember how big of an prick you were, and it has carried over to this board too. And it is not just the "kids" there that didnt like you. I am very close with many of the vets and mods that were there and now are at wwbb, af, osbb, ssb and other not as saturated bb boards and i specifically remember talking to them about you. And you know what 90% of the people here dont want to compete in car audio either. That doesnt mean they dont know anything and that they shouldnt be there just because they dont want/expect to.

Incline db bench is my best friend for adding width to my chest, you may want to try it if your having problems with depth.

And platestacker i really dont want to argue, the only reason i came into this thread was because fitness/weightlifting is really what i enjoy out of all my pasttimes and it was nice not to have to swith between ca.com and my bb boards. You have to remember not everyone is a vet, and we all started out a newb.

See, why can't evenyone talk like this? This dude diden't look at my avator and start calling me childish names and such. Anyway, I wrestled from 6th-11th grade and with Team Florida and Team USA. And started MMA in 10th grade. Then got into bodybuilding in the middle of it and had to ditch it. I've won quite a few State/National records in the Benchpress for almost 3 times my bodyweight raw and over 3 times with a shirt. One of my big acheivements is I just turned 16 and in the 146lb weight class paused 300lbs. Most I've even did at a meet was at 17 years old at around 165-170lb weight class. Paused around 345, squated 490 and pulled around 465 to take a state record and a qualify for a national event in WPA/APA. I miss thouse days sometimes... It's just bodybuilding from here on out now!

The biggest guys I see on campus around here are also at the bar every Friday/Saturday night getting drunk.. One guy in particular probably has 18 1/2" arms and is only 5'10" or so.. He always seems to be the drunkest one..

But personally I drink about 7-8 times a month and it doesn't seem to have any effect on my gains..
