Just wondering what people thought of the effects of drinking and Weightlifting were.. I know a guy who doesnt lift much ( 2-3 days a week and drinks like a fish (4-5 times a week) and is ripped and strong as hell, but for the most part it cant be to good for you .. From what i understand , when trying to build muscle getting drunk on the night of a workout is the same as not even doing a workout that day.. opinions??

 
drinking has a negative affect on anaerobic results but in moderation shouldn't be a problem for anyone other than hardcore competitors
and actually besides being more fattening and having more calories than a hard/ diet drink , beer is the better thing to drink right?? Something about hard alcohol hurts your muscle growth more than beer..??

 
drinking beer (if that's what you're talking about) dehydrates you. When you lift you are trying to fill your muscles with water so basically your hindering everything your trying to accomplish....

 
Both beer and hard liquor will hinder gains and give you a belly. Alchohol will suppress your natural hormones, raise cortisol which eats muscle and makes you fat, and it packs bad calories.

If you are serious about working out, you need to keep it to minimum.

 
just taking no xplode isnt gonna give the average person 10 lbs of muscle in a month...its not a weight gainer...its more of a energy booster and focus factor...vaso diolator
