drillang amps to your box, opionions?

so since ill havea big box for the single 18 ill be getting, i might not be able to keep my amps where they are, but i could easily drill one to the other half of the box where the sub isnt. ive never tried this since i feel like it would really shake the amps insides, but at the same time i know kids that have done it and are still running fine

 
It's not recommended.

I have my amp mounted to the box, but I haven't installed my subs yet.

If u can avoid it i would advise to..if u must put it on the box make sure to mount rubber spacers to the feet to absorb some vibrations..but i would try to put it anywhere but there first...wont fit in the spare tire well or under back seat?
