drill it in

lol i am a noob when it comes to dealing with installing woofers with the surround going over the holes, i get it i just twist the rubber gasket until i can see the holes

With my XXX, the the gasket lined up with the basket but the edge of the surround that extends into the gasket area did not have hole in it and could not see through the holes. I had to poke a hole throught the surround in order to line up the holes and insert the screw. The screws had to go through all the surround anyways so instead of tearing it up I just threaded the screw in it before I installed it so that I did not have any problems with leaks.

That is all

most new woofers are like that.Maby yours are not poked out Italianlifter17.

Rip off the gasket and see if there all clear from surround foam

do i look at the driver upside down to see where the holes r cuz there is no holes on the top

I had the same, I just had to open up the holes on top. I poked a nail through the botttom where the holes are and I saw where they came through, right though the bottom gasket and the top gasket. They where lined up right, just that the holes needed to be opened up though one of the gaskets witch is part of the surround that extends to the holes and the edge of the basket.

Is it that hard to install an XXX ? Some special wierd *** system it uses or something ? :p I just screwed my sub in.. Like, put it in the box, made sure the logo was straight, and then I screwed screws in (with a huge *** corded drill) VERY carefully.
