no way can installing a sub be that hard!! and why can't you use a cordless drlll?

You can, but obviously I wouldn't in this situation. No offense to the original poster, but if you can't figure out how to mount the sub to the enclosure properly, you shouldn't be using power tools. Get some experience first with the easy stuff, i.e. screwdrivers.
