What sizw drill bit do i need for 3/4in mdf wood and im thinking about using 1.5 inch drywall screws.

1/16" or 5/64", anything larger the threads of the screw won't get good bite.

3/32 is what I use for 1 5/8" drywall screws.

Another question im doing double layer baffle on the box would i wood glue them together then screw them THEN cut out the hole for the subs or how would i go about doing this?

when i glue to pieces together, i apply lots of glue, put a few screws in where i plan on cutting off, then drive my car on it and let it sit for an hour or so. Extreme clamping pressure.

Sometimes use another piece on top and bottom to distubute the weight evenly.

If it's a flush mount I cut the wholes before gluing. Otherwise I don't see why it would matter.

I would imagine its a little bit easier to the hole before you glue them. A jigsaw or router going through 3/4" instead of 1.5" is a pretty big difference.

im using a router and puting a 2 in bit on it so its perfect and not off.
