IMO, that looks high. I've heard high stages with tweeters much lower, but hey if it works, it works.

Helix amps are nice, I use to work for the US distributor for them. If you're getting the flat ones, make sure they get enough air to cool down.

I hear more and more strange stuff working everyday. Some people ( not saying you //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif ) get in the habit of prejudging how something is going to sound by where drivers are positioned. I got to listen to Dave Brooks of team hybrids truck a couple weeks ago at elite summer nationals, and witnessed several people do it. To see his install, it makes you think "**** this is going to be loud and obnoxious" 5 L8's in each door, 10's in the kicks, pods on the dash with L4's and L1's drivers side right in your face, A 15 in the floor behind you, 12's or 10's (can't remember) in the floor boards your feet are on, the entire back seat area both bottom and back is nothing but Genesis dual mono block after Genesis dual mono block with a H 900 in the middle................ BBBBUUUUUUTTTT when you slam the door to the vault ( doors feel like vault doors lmao //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif ) sit back and listen ........ it is freaking astonishing. Stage width from the outside of the mirrors on both sides, depth is middle of the hood if not higher, height is perfect , as well as a rock solid dead center. No gaps in the stage anywhere at any frequency. Perfectly balanced. Of course he doesn't run most of the drivers for sq judging , but they are still there so psycho acoustics kicks in somewhat. Okay I'm rambling, I'll shut up now. I've heard Pods on the dash with L3s and L1s (on axis) and L8s in the floors. Sounds great with a very high stage. My previous statement is based off of this experience. Hell, i've heard a setup with tweets down low where the kicks and the floor meets, and the stage is right up on the top the windshield. I'm not sure how it works, but it sure is amazing.

I try not to prejudge with speaker locations, I guess I just have preferences. I'm coming from horns under the dash, 8"s in the kicks/floor, and 10"s in my doors...
