Downgradin to 8 gauge

I'm runnin one 4 gauge power wire right now. if i keep that as the main wire. and run 8 gauge power wires to a 900W RMS amp and a 240W RMS Amp, is the power going to suffer. I don't want to upgrade the 4 gauge.

run 4 gauge to the 900rms amp and ur fine

Run the 4 gauge wire to your 900 rms amp, and run the 8 gauge power to the 240 rms amp, is that what you want to do?, if so that will be fine...

you can just get a distro block with 8ga outs ... ( i have 2ga wire from the batt and a distro with 2 8ga outs to the amps .. )

i wanna run a 4 gauge main and 8 gauge to the mono amp and 8 gauge to 4 channel amp.

but if i can run 4 to the mono amp, i'll do that instead.
