Down to 2 options: clarion max685bt or kenwood ddx812

I have searched and searched as much as i could about both products and i love them both. The main difference seems to be that the clarion lacks sound quality/control and the kenwood offers a bit more customization. The clarion is roughly $200 cheaper which seems like an awesome deal but i can not make up my mind. The kenwood seems to be nearly perfect(i don't need navigation). Any persuasive comments, reviews, or suggestions welcome.
