What one of these 3?

I have 3 12" kicker dual 2ohm cvx's in a vented box.

I also have these 3 amps to choose from

Planet Audio BB2400.1

Kicker 11ZX2500.1

AudioQue 2200

These subs are 750 RMS each so = 2250 RMS

I already have the big 3 - 0 gauge everything, a 250amp alternator and an optima D34/78 under the hood

What amp do you guys think will work out best?

If I run the kicker what will I have to do to not have it blow the subs?

the kicker wont work well since youll be around 1.33 ohms or less than one ohm (depending on wiring)....unless u wire to 3 ohms

audioque, is one ohm stable and will give you about 2000 at 1.33 ohms. so i'd go with that one.

They can be wired to 3ohms. so the kicker will put out the same as the AQ at 1.3. And be much more efficent

the BB planet audio would work well, and we all know the AQ amp will do amazing

With a DCR of 1.33, you are likely to see 2 ohm nominal, so the Kicker will most likely work.

The Kicker will go into protect soon as it turns on. the 06 models could do it but not consistant enough for a daily driver

So the kicker would have to be ran @ 3ohms then?. any idea what wattage that would put out then?

Any suggestions for a back battery, maybe a redtop optima?

I stand corrected. I had an older kicker rated at 4, ran a w15gti off of it at 3, worked like a champ. Did not know the new amps were more finicky.

I tried to get a 2010 to run at 1ohm, some people say they can but I never could or seen it. my 06 could but it didnt like it, even with really strong electrical

I was also running 400 rms not over 2kw, may make the difference.

Bro I did, thats why I tried it. Maybe my box was to small to get enough rise. I got one bump then protect. The 06 would go until it got hot. Both ZX1500s

either way i wouldnt get a zx anything. the BB planet audio will be a good amp for a 1 ohm load
